so tonight in my speech class some random girl whom I never talk to told me in front of the whole class "Dalton, I just wanted to let you know that I have the feeling that you are going to go far in life.'
...granted she was wearing a shirt that said "Got Chronic?" but still the gesture was not lost and it warmed my heart.
You ever notice how when you get a complimeent from someone you never talk to, it makes it better than when it's one of your friends? I mean you ask your friends about something serious and most of the time they have to lie or else they wouldn't be good friends. However, these random people don't have to because for the most part they don't care if they hurt your feelings or not, so it was weird that I made that kind of imprsssion on her.
I don't know, I thought it was cool. Today actually has been exceptionally cool and now that I've just jinxed the hell out of tomorrow, I'm going to bed.
