I just finished reading a novel which has now climbed its way to my favorite novel's list. It currently resides at number 1.
I never really understood why people would say this about some books until now....You people have to read this book. It spoke to me so much. More than any other book in the world could. It's NOT A HORROR OR SCI-FI OR ANYTHING WEIRD novel. Its simply a tale of a married couple living in the slums of england during the 60's. The man wants riches and luxury for his wife so he uses his amazingly photogenic brain to win a thousand dollars on a game show. He quickly wins more several other ways using this amazing talent of his and him and his wife both learn so much.
I can't give anymore away...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE, READ THIS BOOK! It seriously will change your life, I promise. It changed my entire perspective on school, life and all of the above. I'm a changed man because of this book. I can't describe anymore but stop reading this drivel and pick up this novel. The author is Anthony Burgess. The book is entitled "One Hand Clapping"
