Laserbeak (2:46:12 AM): *After enduring his twin’s overblown account of a recent mission with some 'copter or other, Laserbeak decided that he needed to leave the roost for a short while. That, and there was the matter of getting rid of that large piece of wing still cluttering up the hall by their door...*
Laserbeak (2:47:51 AM): --slag...-- *sighing, he wearily dragged it down the hall towards the lab*
Skyfire (2:56:27 AM): *Is currently standing outside of said lab in the hall, with an odd assortment of items - a hammer and chisel, a torch-welder, bottles of various acids, and what could quite possibly be /plastic explosives/ - piled up near his massive feet. As he is currently hammering away that the strange 'welds' holding his doors in place with the hammer and chisel, it’s quite obvious what all of the items are for*
Laserbeak (2:59:30 AM): *pushing the piece right next to the pile, he flaps up and perches on it, watching the larger mech work for a few moments before clearing his intakes politely* Pardon me, but I have something for Starscream...
Skyfire (3:07:05 AM): *there is a nice, loud final *CLANG* of the hammer on the chisel as Skyfire pulls away, looking around for a moment before looking even further down then he normally has to. Ah.* Oh. ...Laserbeak, I think? *raises an optic ridge, which goes up a bit further before narrowing when he notices what the cassette is sitting on* So it would seem you do.
Laserbeak (3:10:18 AM): *promptly hopping off and moving to perch on the welder* Yes. And I also believe I owe you both an apology for my brother's actions. He...he can be quite difficult at times. --Especially when he's overloaded...--
Skyfire (3:17:29 AM): Hnm. You yourself have no reason to apologise, as far as I'm aware, Laserbeak. *Bends down and scoops up that piece of wing carefully, though he /does/ give it a quick scan for safeties sake* Though I do thank you for returning this. *As Skyfire could not get it himself as he was too busy BEING TRAPPED IN HIS ROOMS and all*
Laserbeak (3:21:41 AM): Yes, well I do feel as though I must do something make up for the trouble he caused... *Smiling as sweetly as a newly made protoform, he unsubs a couple of small boxes and hold them out to the shuttle*
Skyfire (3:31:39 AM): *yeah. That smile? So very much NOT disarming. In fact, Skyfire feels suddenly /more/ cautious then he was before, just knowing he was dealing with one of Soundwave's most skilled cassettes* ...What is this, then? *Carefully neutral and scanning, thanks*
Laserbeak (3:40:06 AM): *notices how 'neutral' Skyfire is being and decides to tone down the sweet act* Don't worry, my large friend. They're just a couple of human toys my brother, eh...collected. And, given who that they were modeled after both you and your mate, I decided it be for the best to give them to you Let's call it a peace offering, shall we?
Skyfire (3:44:44 AM): *When his scans show nothing more then plastic and metal, he scoops up the tiny objects in curiosity. A...tiny Starscream? And a tiny /him/* ...What the....?
Laserbeak (3:46:26 AM): Cute, aren't they? Though hardly very accurate... *grinning, he points to the boxart* Seems the humans think you’re called "Jetfire".
Skyfire (3:48:10 AM): ...For some reason, they are not the only ones to... *mumbles, turning over the boxes and looking at the toys in confused awe* Where did these come fro...You know, I probably don't want to know.
Laserbeak (3:50:53 AM): Believe me, it's a very long and sordid tale.... *cocking his head, he studies Skyfire's reaction* I take it they're to your liking?
Skyfire (3:56:50 AM): I...The one of myself is rather ...disturbing. And I'm sure the Starscream one is - does he even have /hands/? *incredulously, rather distracted by the very usual toys*
Laserbeak (4:01:27 AM): Well, these were made by humans, after all... *eyes the hands/gun barrels on the toy*
Skyfire (4:05:24 AM): Wait, /humans/? ...Yes, I /don't want to know/... *shakes his head and looks back down at Laserbeak, nodding slowly* Well then, um, thank you. I accept. Your 'peace offering', that is.
Laserbeak (4:07:34 AM): *coos gratefully* You're most welcome, Skyfire. If you ever need anything, anything at all... *pointedly turns his attention to the door the other mech had been working on*
Laserbeak (4:13:04 AM): ...like, say, a little assistance?
Skyfire (4:18:30 AM): Hmm. That's quite alright. I have several tools for the job, and if those don't work... well, the doors might have to come off entirely. *grins wryly down at the cassette* Besides, Starscream should be back soon to help me, and well.... *He might not be as glad to see you here. :/ *
Laserbeak (4:20:38 AM): I see. Well, *dips into a very formal bow* Then I bid you good day, and best of luck in you venture. *On that note, he flaps into the air and goes gliding off down the hall*
And, yes, Laserbeak shall remain PINK.
