Day 20: Podding Casts & Science Girling
First off, I should say I did not get anything done Friday or Saturday. Friday was the Ween concert, as I said. It was amazing--they sounded so great! They did about a million songs in the 2 1/2 hour show, including the song I most wanted to hear (With My Own Bare Hands). Saturday, I slept in very late then spent the day with Devon. To be honest...I am not sure what I did during the day, as there was a part where Devon was doing laundry. I guess I was just goofing off? I don't know. I know I was reading comics last night when she went to bed, instead of writing. I am not going to apologize for it...I wanted to read them, and I did. I could have gotten more written, but I was not feeling it yet.
Today, on the other hand, I got a lot done.
First off, I put together a podcast. It was the one Lyn and I recorded last weekend, so I did not need to record anything, but I edited it up and put it out early in the day.
And just now, I've written another 5 pages or so of Science Girl Cinnamon. I think I like what I wrote, but I am trying not to dwell on that, right now. I'm following the outline and writing it in a way that pleases me as I write it, I will get into the real yesses and nos of the lines after I get finished with a full pass. I'm at 12 pages now, so I am over 1/3rd of the way.
But yes, I do need to pick up the pace. And I will. When things get going, they get going faster.
But I feel great about it, right now. Yeah, the last week was a bit of a wash, since last Sunday, but this Sunday was great, and yeah--I can make next week better. I promise.
