getting better is so better
feeling ok today. a little more sore than yesterday but that's to be expected. i think because i was so doped up yesterday and wasn't hurting i accidentally over did it. but i'm not as sore as i thought i would be so that's good. i am, however, pretty dizzy and light headed today. mom picked me up some smokes today and she got the wrong kind. they are a lot stronger than my usual turkish silvers so add that to the narcotics and you get one dizzy little patient. i'm able to move around, all be in slowly, and i took a shower about an hour ago which makes a person feel a little more human.
i totally felt the love yesterday. i had visitors from the time i got home until 2:30 in the morning. i figured i would sleep most of the day but there were so many people to talk to that i didn't actually sleep until 4 am. i saw leslie and trey, gina and michele, liz, alisha, beth and abe, and casey. casey stayed the longest (almost 6 hours) and we had a great conversation til the wee hours of the morn. and people who weren't able to come over gave texts and calls. except ms.sarah ellis who called to ask what i was doing and then asked my what time i had gotten off work. :0). i had to remind her that i had just been cut open and had therefore not gone to work. that was pretty funny. eddie from the monologues even sent flowers.
tmw i'm going to the monologues cast party so that will be my first big outing. i hope i'm feeling good enough to stay for awhile. as it stands now i'm bored out of my mind and want to get out of the house but physically i'm still not quite up to par. so if anyone reads this today and wants to come by this evening for a movie or a game or some conversation i would really appreciate it. COME RESCUE ME!
