update update lovely lovely update
going to nashville this weekend. that's right...we are the biggest dorks EVER because we are going to the renaissance festival! it's a family tradition type thingy. beth and i went together in 2001 and 2002 and haven't been since so we're going again. we're leaving friday and coming back super late on saturday.
i had my HR interview yesterday. it went really well. lasted about 25 minutes and most of the time we were just chatting. that's a good sign i guess. i still don't think i'll get it but that's ok because i just found out that a training internship will be opening soon and i would really like to apply for that one. so i'm pretty ok with any outcome. plus there are other people applying for this one that wld do a great job. like dustin who is a wonderful people-person.
in other news at work...i got this mysterious invitation at work inviting me to the "internet cafe" (which is just the break room because they took the internet away those bastards) on tuesday of next week. at first we thought is was some pat on the back type thing for floor support, but not all the floor people got one. then we thought it was a pat on the back thing for top operators, but some people got one that aren't great operators. so we have no idea what's going on. the supervisors know but won't tell anyone. i hate surprises!
ok so i'm going to go finish my laundry so i can get packed for nashville. have a great day everyone.
