I like the traditional names. Some of the ethnic names, and new age names set my teeth on edge. Pick a Saint's name like Robert or Susanne.

yeah, not a fan of the traditional. like i said, probably stems from being a mary elizabeth, and my brother being a michael brandon, and the fact that i was supposed to be named katherine michelle....so boring. i'll admit, i'm not a fan of some of the "weird" names or bizarre spellings of regular names...but i see no problem with going the non-conventional route. i suppose if there's a strong family tie to something it would be understandable (like, my boyfriend's middle name is Alexander...he's hispanic though, so i think it would be cooler to use as Alejandro....like, assuming we have kids or something).
