I am seriously distracted today
Well the good old alcoholism is running rampant through the family again. Seriously. My cousin might have a little brain damage after getting into a bar fight where a bottle was smashed over his head. Not cool. At first I was scared for him, but now I'm kind of apathetic again. My family has tried and tried over and over to put him into rehabilitation, but he never owns up and takes responsibility for himself and gets himself better. So all I can do is be there, sort of, since i'm in school and all. I can't feel bad for people who DON'T TRY. I still love him, but I think he's a coward. I have no comprehension of what alcoholism is, but yet I know people are very capable of breaking through, my father being a prime example and such a strong role model in my life, as well as countless others who seek him out to counsel them.
Okay, sorry for the drama, its just nice to vent.
Last night there was a douche bag drunk when i got to my dorm last night. He called me lame for not being "fucked up". Well excuse me sir, but I DON'T NEED alcohol to have fun. Yes I drink, yes I smoke, but do I do it constantly and need it ever present in my life? NO. So why don't you go fuck your beer bottle and let me live the life i want to, not dependant upon narcotics to make me happy. Fucking Shithead.
