Like I said to Iris, just minutes ago, life is moving from hassle to outright pain in the ass.

Working in Millbrae is surely and steadily becoming IMPOSSIBLE. Andrew, asshat that he is, has gotten around to suggesting I spend the night at coworker's houses so I can be at work the next day. Yes, sure, I will stay with complete, non-English-speaking strangers in a strange town, completely forsaking my home and private life, so that I can work in fucking Millbrae at minimum wage, the next day. And the next day. And possibly the day after that. And every goddamn day too, while we're at it, because I am scheduled to work until one in the morning from now until the end of time. No buses run from Millbrae to Montara at one in the morning, nor do I plan on taking one at the end of time.

So when I told Andrew that I planned to get a car, since I live, go to school, and work in three different cities, he pulled out his irony-laden warnings of budgeting. Yes, I do realize it is extremely important to budget yourself, to find out what you can and can't afford. I don't need to be told to do this by a man who has driven our household DEEP into debt with $1000-a-plate dinners and 30 vacations a year so he can satisfy some purely childish, egocentric, masturbatory political fantasy. That motherfucker stole my inheritance; I will extract it in blood if I have to. You get lots of money for selling blood.

But anyway, this was all after today, and until today, everything seemed to be working out fine. I have about $300 saved in the bank, a $1000 check from dad for books and tuition, some money coming from the Calman household for similar reasons, and I've registered for all my classes. A solid yet easy load: Intro to Ethics, Mass Media and Society, and Newswriting. Three classes in the morn on Monday and Wednesday, only two on Friday. Seems great, gives me lots of time to work, study, and generally get my shit together. Yes indeed.

But for all of this, especially living on the coast, I will need a car. I have to take three buses just to get to college, and two to get to work. God knows how to get between college and work. I'm working out a plan for this.

So anyway. What's been going on these days?

Yesterday I got to see Dashalover. And a damn good, appreciative time was had. Plus burritos. Oh yeah. Tuesday, was in Davis for the one of the last times. Going back, likely on the 30th. Monday, I registered my classes and finished applying and all that. Then i chilled with Ryan and Barbara, the new megacouple, all...damn...day.

And yeah, that's my life right now. Hip hip hooray.

Love and peace'z,
Velociraptor Mommy
