6-month(!!!)
So, long lost Trista has returned and demanded from me an LJ entry. Well ok then! Let's get down to it then.
So, yeah, new job over there at Safeway Starbucks. The pay is a lot higher than McDonald's, but compared to regular Starbuckses, and pretty much everything else, it is still quite low. Fortunately, many of my coworkers are alright. Tyler and Boone (one of whom was a juggalo lulz) both left, but we are still left with Apple, my A+ manager, Caroline, Ruby, and Chris. Axel is there, too. He makes electronic music and a project may be in the works if he ever bothers showing up for work. Sean is another coworker, but he's a bit of an asshole, so never mind him. There's a cast of other folks too, who just work Safeway in general; perhaps I'll get around to kicking it with them some day.
Most prominent amongst workplace friends is Zuey, who Nicole, Shannon, John and Jonathan already knew. She's a cool cat and I'm glad she bringing me into her social circle. I've kinda been without a "group of friends" for a while now, and it's nice to roll with a big crew.
Also, thanks to the job, I'm finally paying off those huge debts that managed to get into the $400+ area while I lived in the apartments. The bank debt is finally gone. All that's left is PG&E, whom I owe $400-something, ATT, whom I owe $300-something, and NetZero, whom I owe fifteen bucks. NetZero is a piece of shit, so they are at the bottom of my list.
Been making a lot of breakbeat-style music these days. Really heavy, drawling, warm sounds, like being sat on by giant babies. If you/I ever get the chance, I'll show you some of what I'm working on. Intelligent opinions are always welcome. Abysmally stupid ones even more so.
I really haven't been writing anything. Huh.
