Week #1
"I'm gonna get my feet wet until I drown"
Those are song lyrics I heard at some point while traveling to and from school this week, and I instantly thought thats me right now. So between my own classes and the two classes I have to TA for I'm so deep in it already and have been since the 2nd day I don't even know how to explain.
The icing on the cake is that my prof. that I am TAing for loves to give quizes pretty much everyday - there are 40 plus people in each class, that is 120+ short answer quizes a week. Did I mention I grade the quizes? Among many other duties as a TA - attending class, going on field trips, scheduling the field trips, attendance, organizing a list serve, keeping track of all the grades, answering all the class emails, etc...Yeah, I'm basicaly his bitch. But oh well, it pays for my school with some extra $.
My class are an immense anount of work. I wish I could work ahead to get a jump on these horrible clusters of papers that I see just a week or two ahead, but I have so much reading to do I can just barely keep up. With all that said, I still like being back in school. I really like my Urban ecology class, the other one not so much, but it's required so I'll just eat it.
