New Locale

I am now in Portland. The weather has been great here so far. It's chilly, and I think this is what fall is supposed to feel like. The leaves are beginning to change and it's nice to be somewhere that has seasons. Check back with me on that in a few months though -I'm sure my first winter here will be a bit of an adjustment. I checked the weather

No, but I have been compiling a list of books to pick up there. I'm going to head to the Powell's downtown on Monday after my school orientation.

ah, it's cool i suppose.
i graduate in 3 months and then take the bar in february and then find a job somehow!
the funny thing is no matter how much i hate law school, i still don't really wanna graduate cause school is so much better than a real job! :)

I know what you mean. I've often thought I would stay in school forever if I could swing it somehow. I did not realize you graduate so soon! Wow, you really will be in the real world soon.

Congrats on the safe move and the new dig.

I'm looking forward to it snowing up here just so I can take a picture of Malcolm freaking out the first time he sees snow. If its anything like the first time he saw a lake, it'll be hilarious.

Is Simpson up there yet? Oh and please share stories about school causing you to lose sleep. it'll at least make me feel a little better that other people are miserable.

No Simpson yet, but she'll probably be here by the end of this coming week. I'll post a journal regarding how I feel after my first week of grad school...if I can find the time - does that give you a hint?
