Mike and I are getting ready this week for the trip to the Bahamas. Now, normally people would picture the Bahamas and think of big hotels, large sandy beaches with parasailing and jetskies, and many various other tourist attractions. Well, that is true if you're going to Nassau or Freeport, but my mom is from a very small island called, "Green Turtle Cay." We'll be staying in my Grandmother's house, she passed several years ago, with 6 other people; my mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and uncle. Sooooooo, things will be a little cramped. It is very picturesque and peaceful there. I really think Mike has no idea what it's going to be like, so I'm excited to see his reaction. Yesterday was spent running around getting extras for the the trip. We leave this weekend. :crosses fingers for no tropical disturbances:
