Homecoming
Oh my gosh... last night/this morning was so amazing. This was definitely my favorite dance.
Brint picked Douglas and me up and we took the "scenic route" to Sesame Inn. Aka Brinton was retarded and ended up out by Passavant [but we love him] so Doug and I helped with directions. What should have been an 8 minute trip, turned out to be like... 20 minutes. It was excellent. When we got out of the car, Brint's eyes popped out of his head when he saw how much my glitter shedded on his seat. It was a lot. I felt badly, but it was SO funny at the same time. We waited around inside for a bit and people started showing up one by one. I was definitely in love with J's outfit. Oh mannn... he was a hot journalist.
Then the flag girls came!! Oh! My! Goodness! It was a huge Asian reunion. It was possibly the cutest thing ever. For dinner, I sat with Brinton, J, Kayla, Keenie, Sam and TL. We got all this great food. I love Asian food. Great conversations too. And Keen was Morticia Addams... cuz I fixed her. =) I also "visited" Camille and Dilly a lot because they got my favorite dish... shrimp with broccoli. I thought of the Chinese man who told me to eat all my broccoli. Haha... good times over the summer.
Then Douglas's house. I ate snickerdoodles with Kate and we took all these random pictures [perhaps next entry I'll post them]. Then we did some formal ones and Brinton's grandpa thought it'd be funny to tell me that Brinton and I were related. It was so awkward... aka now I love his grandpa. The last picture we did was all of us being the Brady Bunch on the steps. It was most excellent.
Then the dance. I LOVED THE DANCE. Brint and I danced for like... 3 hours straight with momentary gaps so I could dance and trick Kate into love. He got so much glitter on him. It was fantastic. More random pictures there. Loved it when Fall Out Boy [missed Kyle so much] and Hanson came on. Also Kate and I freaked when Usher came on. But oh gosh... no matter how much I write about this dance, there's no way to express how much fun I had with everyone, especially Brint. =) Kayla, however, did not win Homecoming Queen. That's bullshit. She's our queen in our hearts. But Erica DelMastro won 1st runner up. I love her.
Then back to my place for mass craziness. We ate pizza rolls and brownies... at one point, my room was filled with 1/2 naked girls. We all watched in great amusement the Don Quixote video... in its entirety... From into to RD to random comments about Mother Russia. Excellence. Then we watched Boohbahs and that Kidz Bop video for hours. Of course the boys left at 12:30ish. Us chicas had so much fun. It was CRAZY. Again, there's no way to explain any of this. But this morning, my Maja made us breakfast and we watched Spice World. I was so in love with the world. We also watched a little of the Family Guy movie. But oh gosh... I absolutely adore Emily, Kate, Dilly, Camille, and Kayla. The 6 of us together was possibly one of the best sleepovers ever. <3
