Fucking hate Independance Day.
Yeah, it's all fucking fun and games, until some bastard goes home after a long night of revelry and all that energy turns ugly. So he drags his kid up out of the back room and lays into him for an hour, until the drink catches up with him and he passes out. And then the kid, snivelling like a little puppy, has to drag himself outside to get a breath of air that doesn't smell like puke and ale, and all he hears is everyone carrying on.
Kanemoria is one thing. I don't -- I don't hate Kanemoria. I hate Norey. I hate Colndor. I hate every miserable fucking place I've been in this barren pile of rubble, but that doesn't mean it's not my home.
But everyone just making joyful idiots of themselves and fucking ignoring what's going on because of it --
