After four doubles in a row, we packed up and headed out to Oakland, stopping in Las Vegas and Ontario (CA not Canada), sleeping most of the way. We spent the first night being couch potatoes at my grandma and papa's house, which was nice. They seem to like Ryan.

The next day was the wedding. Angela's dress was really pretty. The ceremony was a bit short and missing a few parts, but it was nice, and the marina was gorgeous. The reception was at her house, so we headed over there after pictures. The centerpieces had somehow disappeared, but from what I hear they were extremely pretty. Damn you, Centerpiece Bandit! The reception was relaxed. We watched part of the Eagles/Steelers pre-season game, drank a little bit, and caught up with people I haven't seen in a few years. Ryan has been warned that if he DARES take his tux off (like Mario did) and changes into jean shorts and a tshirt before the first dance or cake we will suddenly have a pinata at our wedding. After the wedding Ryan, my dad, and I went bowling. My dad has had three back surgeries, can't feel his foot, and has a constant ringing in his ears...and he still swept us up and down the bowling alley. On the way home from Albany we introduced Ryan to Jack in the Box, which may have been the final nail in the "moving to California someday" coffin. Hah.

Saturday we barely made it home. I had to ride 4th all the way from Las Vegas. The loads for Sunday were worse, so we took our chances to NOT get stuck in Vegas. We made it home in time to sleep for a few hours before...

Opening weekend of the PA Renn Faire! We couldn't find Ryan's shirt or my bodice ties, so for the second time in a row we went garbless, which bummed me out a little bit. It was one of the best faire days I've ever had, though, just being together watching shows. Our goals for either this or next year's faires are Maryland (as usual), KC, Denver, and NorCal. Anyone in Cali want to take a drive? Anywho, after a great weekend we wandered home to sleep for my return to work.

...which was a day from Hell. No break, crashing blood sugar all day, no time to breathe, fart, or scratch my nose, and maddening fucking people ALL DAY. From 5am to 2pm there was not a moment where there wasn't a line in front of me at least 10 people long. Ridiculous! After all that craziness I helped Ryan hang some drywall before we headed over to Dan's birthday dinner, and finally home to bed.

Work was pretty run of the mill, thank gods. My legs are extremely sore, but I'm alive and conscious...and cold...for some reason cold...

So that's that..picture when they're done :)
