FU, too Spring. :(

So, I go crazy biking and running during the first two days of sunshine and end up with both a (re-)sprained ankle AND the flu.

And it's getting cold again. Whine, gripe, moan, blergh.

Then I have to sit and watch BOTH UNC AND Duke fucking win in nailbiters they would have lost if they weren't playing in fucking CHARLOTTE and getting the typical biased calls from the refs. UGH. FU, North Carolina.

Here's hoping my Illini can pull it out tonight against Kansas or today will be an official waste.

Since no one actually cares about my boring life, here are a few random Glee thoughts:

1) I come up with a new favorite moment every time I rewatch "Original Song." My newest one is how almost the very second he finishes his bow to the audience after Raise Your Glass, Blaine's head turns to look for Kurt. It just makes me smile.

2) Thinking about "Night of Neglect" and what it might mean for Mike and Tina (and Brittany and Artie from the promo) got me thinking about how much Tina and Brittany have been recruited as back up by other ND members this season (with a precedent set of course by Kurt with Single Ladies in S1). (Tina along with Quinn by Mercedes in Grilled Cheesus, Tina, Mike and Britt by Kurt in Duets, Tina and Britt by Lauren in Comeback, and Tina and Britt during "Get it Right").

Were these just the writers trying to make them (Tina in particularly) more visible/included? Or should I be giving them credit for trying to say something about the group dynamics that might actually come to the surface?

I have a new pet theory that part of Sue's plan with the Legion of Doom (specifically her task for Sandy) will be to stir up the kids who are neglected (i.e., Mike, Tina, Mercedes, Britt and apparently Artie, though LOL) to try to disrupt the group dynamics. It fits into strategy she has employed before (Throwdown and Comeback). And that this somewhat explains why we have seen these character so backburnered this season. I mean, they did hint at it during "Special Education" with Tina and Mercedes being the "unsung heroes"- maybe they really are thinking about these things and planning ahead.

trololololol, I think I almost made myself believe that one. :/

3) After the "Blaine and the Pips" comment, I totally want Blaine to sing "Midnight Train to Georgia" as his New Directions audition song. Because it would be hilariously appropriate and inappropriate and therefore perfect for Blaine.
