well hi! i hope everyone is having a super fantastic summer. i figured since its been almost a month since i updated, i should. so here goes!!
i hate kalahari. they love me. i work overtime every week. and they dont like ppl working overtime. i was working usually the morning shifts which was 7am-3pm, which i loved, but then they decided to turn on me and now im lucky if i work that shift. i usually go in later around 9 or 10 and get off around 4 or 6. they've cut our shifts down to 7hrs a day, 5 days a week so that we dont get overtime. it is so much more stressful than cp. for the first like month i was stressed really bad. i would come home and just cry and let it all out. actually, i still do that. b/c they are bastards and just keep pushing back what time i can leave. one day last week, one of my manager's kept pushing my time back 15 mins. i ended up leaving an hour after i was suppost to. not only that but i walk around unprotected with around 2k each night. its great. oh well. but i guess its getting better.
i have been enjoying my days off though. i usually spend them with tyler. and now that traci is back from slovakia, i can hang out with her too!! but tyler proposed to me after the 4th of july fireworks at cp. i said yes. however, we are not going to get married until after i have graduated from college. but its just neato that there are now 3 of us valko girls engaged this year!! i guess we are just cool like that :). thanks jenny for the congrats!! i called jackie that night and told her and she was drunk. it was funny. haha. buuuut anyways.
today is my day off. i was off yesterday too. oh and another thing about kalahari, they call me alot to come in on my days off and work for a while. or to come in earlier when i have to work later. i haaaaaaaate it. i only go in so i get more hours.
but alas. today is resting day. im going to the huron river fest with tyler and dad and trac. i havent talked to my mom in days. since like tuesday. she wants me to come over so we can "talk about things" when i have alot of free time. im thinkin pri not...
