Back in early S1 of Fringe there was a sense that Peter and Astrid got on perhaps better than any of the others in their department, and this fic exploring that feels like it could well still fit into canon from a time before his focus went elsewhere to Olivia, if you choose to see it that way. Either way this is simply a good fic for the above pairing.
