And just because Spock loved his own Leonard McCoy doesn't make it true in this bold new universe. Except perhaps it does...
I like that this story focused a lot on Spock and his reaction to seeing the Vulcan of the universe he finds himself destroyed, his relationship to Sarek, and his ambivalence towards the alternates of his best friends, Jim Kirk and Leonard McCoy. I also like the focus on McCoy, too. Good reading, this!
