Thanks for checking out the overview. Hope you'll enjoy the show and the fic!
The short answer to your question: yes. I get carpal tunnel just thinking about it.
The long answer: I added a section about the pairings. You should expect 1-2 main pairings per series, usually tied into one of the main plot arcs. The good news is that most of the canon pairings only last a series or two, so they're pretty easy to follow.
Ruth/Harry is by far the biggest pairing in the fandom. You'll find some stories here and there for the other pairings.
Thanks! My first draft actually had character summaries for every single section D member or affiliate. That was way too long, but I feel bad about all the awesome characters I didn't have space to add.
Dimitri is awesome. I was sad that the writers didn't do more with his character. But hey -- fic!
Oo, I love Spooks but still haven't watched the last series - if Harry and Ruth don't get together (or die) (romantically saving the world) by the end, well, I'll be unhappy. Looking forward to some fic, though!
Great overview! Your summaries of the characters are especially nice. Particularly:
He enjoys classical music, dry wit, and secretly assassinating his enemies. Also Adam's angsty period going on for 5000 years, and Ros killing people with forks. But so much of this - so true!!
But :-( at it now being a thing in the past tense, all of it. Spooks...
Re: Ros and the fork, I always kind of loved how Spooks was dramatic and serious and edgy, but if you actually thought about the things that happened, they're kind of ridiculous.
It kind of killed me to use the past tense, but maybe some new viewers will give the show a chance.
So glad you liked them. It's a bit nerve-wracking doing this as a newcomer. I figure the long-term readers will have seen most of these stories already, but you never know. It's great to get feedback.

You didn't mention what the main pairings are. Do they differ greatly from season to season?
