Why this must be read:
This is another beautiful, sad take on the problem of returning home. We see all four Pevensies, and the ways they have been changed by Narnia and now fit only awkwardly now into their old lives. More that that, we see them beginning to be children again- Lucy remembers being a Queen and resents the loss of that, even as we see her picking a childish fight. The interactions between all four children are perfect, as are the ways we see them struggle to come to terms with their exile from Narnia.
"Still, there are so many things - they don't realise how clever you are, Lucy, or - or - they won't let me learn archery, you know."
