The X-Files was a show that ran for close to a decade, so not surprisingly, this is long. It is also very spoilery and picture heavy. I've done my best to give a balanced view of the series, but since I'm a slasher, I've given a bit extra room to things that are especially relevant from that aspect. Don't sue me, okay

Wow. That was a huge undertaking and you did it really well! Awesome job at breaking down the conspiracy-I watched the show starting in season 2 and I couldn't have said it so succintly

I think you're right about CSM being confirmed as Mulder's father, more or less, so I should probably edit that to sound less tentative. As for Scully's pregnancy, I never saw the episodes where it was revealed how it happened, and none of the sites I found had a good rundown of the events concerning the baby. Maybe I should emphasize the miracle aspect more. *scratches head*

Yeah, I was under the impression that Mulder and Scully were attempting baby the old fashioned way as well as the IVF. The pregnancy was still miraculous, but it's not like a total immaculate coneception.

Also, Mulder and Krycheck's relationship- fanfic wise, was vastly vastly improved by the "Too much time in a Russian prison".

My knowledge on the baby storyline is not up to scratch, I freely admit that. I'll edit the information on it to reflect the opinions I've got here as soon as I've got the time.

And you're absolutel right - quality time in a Russian prison cell is very much of the good, slash-wise. *g*

Great overview. The only thing I'd add is the fact that Doggett and Skinner are involved in a gay loving monogamous relationship, and after the finale they moved to Vermont together and opened the "John and Walter's House of Pies." OK, maybe not so much the last part, but the SkinDog was really blatant.
