It is f--king WEIRD that none of my relatives talk to one another, despite living on a minuscule island. I mean - honestly. Uncle Jimmy, I can understand (kind of). He lives in Canada, and probably sees my aunts and uncles as infrequently as I do... kinda (that may be a lie. I haven't seen them in close to 10 years now.)
HOWEVER.
My parents don't talk to anyone.
My 2nd uncle doesn't reply to e-mails and doesn't give out his phone number
I think my 2nd aunt just dropped off the face of the Earth.
My 1st aunt died last year of skin cancer, and I am totally apathetic. I get this feeling my parents are apathetic, too.
I have a billion cousins, and I think none of them know my name.
