I use this rare LiveJournal post to mention a new site I built:

It's a place for those affected by Hurricane Katrina to say they're okay, and for those worried about loved ones to seek information on them.

If you have a blog, I'd love it if you linked to it -- the site will become much more useful as more people use it.

continuing my good web-host luck, it's been down about half an hour. was getting 1500 hits an hour before that. but i'm told it'll be up again in a few minutes.
