3rd poem I wrote
Why did you have to go?
Why did you leave me alone to wonder?
The twilight sky, the clouds weep
They weep with me for you are not
The sun doesn't dare to shine on this moment,
this numb and empty moment in time.
Only darkness, only darkness shines bright
on the very core of my soul.
The night has prevailed and has taken over.
The crescent moon gives little light to show what little hope I have.
If only I had a chance, one more try
I would love you as you loved me.
If I knew that you would be gone
I would've overcome myself for you.
But now you're gone and I'm left to wonder
Why did you have to go?
