much sqeeeeee-ness. Can't wait for the rest of this.

Will there be Doc/Jack smoochies? There has to be at least a comparison kiss, see how the new Doc measures up to the old. PLEASE!

I honestly don't know yet. They've got a bunch of other issues to get through first. The Doctor is going to just about have a heart attack before the end of Part 2.

The part where Jack is asking the TARDIS whether the Doctor has been good to her and she vocally rolls her eyes at the suggestion? I really hope something like that plays out in cannon.

That's the first part of this story I wrote. That so needs to happen.

"Hello Sweetheart" needs a comma "Hello, Sweetheart."

And, convention: World War 2 should be World War II.

He pressed some buttons. "Let's see. There's smaller Rifts in Paris, Cairo, New York.... I've never been to New York. Let's go to New York." I don't know whether or not this needs fixing, but saying "New York" for the third time seems odd. Though I just ran it though my head and changed the Doctor's modulation of those three sentences and it worked, so I don't know.

Before reading this, I never realized that the Doctor heard Jack die. And then I had to go watch that relevant section of "The Parting of the Ways" and OMG he does. Add in fact since all the comm systems were open, everyone heard the slaughter of the people on floor zero and when another one of their people went down. ACK! And I'm really, really stupid for not realizing this until two years down the line. *sigh*

He gets hung up on a word sometimes. Remember "thumb" in Tooth and Claw?

It was just the other side of an interior wall. Both gunfire and the sound of a 175lb dead weight slamming into that wall would have been both audible and all too identifiable.

Finished! Yay!

"Jack, you died."

"Yeah, but I got better."

Inappropriate Monty Python flashback time! :D ("She turned me into a newt!")

You're missing some commas there, but aside from that, it's all good. I hope you explain the power leak and the daleks at some point, though.

The Daleks will appear in the middle of S3. This is set near the end of S3. The power leak will be explained in Part 2.
