resolutions
I have made no resolutions on new years eve for decades. I have however made mockery of said resolutions in recent years. So, change your life as you will and I will resolve to not hold anyone who choses to do so in disdain. This is tough, since I don't understand the need to maintain resolve based on a calender. So, I resolve not to ridicule that which I don't understand. Why not seek solutions rather than re-solutions? So, I resolve to be soluble rather than resoluble. Yet, if you remove the re and s from resolve you are left with olve. Switch the l and o and you have love. So I resolve to make more love this year. Wait, if instead you insert an i between the l and v one is left with olive. The olive branch represents peace. So I resolve to be more peaceful throughout 2005. OK, OK, take the o out of olive and you have live. I resolve to live throughout the next 365 days, unless it is leap year. Is this a leap year? Frogs leap, right?. So, I resolve to leap more in the coming 12 month's, and to leap even more if it is a leap year. Ooh, ooh, I resolve to become more concise, starting january first 2005. CONCISE... from Latin- concisus, to cut off. So, I resolve to cut off anyone and everything, without prejudice, or post- judice. Was judas judicial? Resolute? Should I have captalized judas (Judas)? Sorry, I can't take this kind of responsibility, I need a drink. AHA! I resolve to be more responsible and drink less, beginning enero uno 2005. That leaves me four more days to be irresponsible and inebriated. I'm glad I didn't make any resolutions when this year began. CHEERS, BOTTOMS UP, SALUD.
