(no subject)
Friday, January 4.
Friday was a good day! I went over Max's for a little bit around 1:30ish. We didn't stay long because I had to pick my brothers up from school at 2:30! So we picked them up and dropped them off at home and then went back to Olmsted Falls to pick up Zack from a friend's house. I stayed for maybe another hour after that and had to go to Bay for my eye appointment.
I hung out with Lauren L for the first time in forever after that! We met up with Shauna, Kristen, and Vicky. We all decided to go out to eat at Chili's for dinner and played Flat Stanley with Boogey Woogey! Then we drove around forever. We finally saw the castle at the end of Lorain! Shauna showed us where it was. We couldn't think of anything to do, so we just drove around and attempted to follow Island Road until it ended, which it never did. We drove past the maximum security prison and freaked ourselves out saying how there were probably escaped prisoners everywhere. The five of us ended up going to Shauna's house and we all decided that we were going to move in ; ]. Max came over too after work and we watched Pocahontas! We obviously have lives. Despite the fact that we did a whole lot of nothing, it was still fun :]
Saturday, January 5.
I didn't do much of anything during the day, I don't think. I visited Maxwell at work and then I went to the Spanos'. We talked and attempted to watch Planet Earth, but as you can imagine, once we paused the movie, it never proceeded from there! Alexis has pnumonia and she went to bed after a while, so Jennifer, Kristen, and I talked about everything :]. Max came over after work too, and we watched Turistas which was ... special? When the movie ended, we talked for about two and a half hours until we decided it was time to leave at like 2:15 in the morning. It was so nice to have good conversation with the three of them :] I enjoyed it very much!
Sunday, January 6.
I didn't do much on Sunday. I hung out with Max and Kristen but we didn't do a whole lot, really. It was fun anyway :). We went to Drug Mart and smelled all the soaps and deodorants because I needed more for school! I worked on packing my stuff pretty much the whole time, and Max and I left around 7:30ish.
We got to BG and I found out that I DON'T HAVE A ROOMMATE THIS SEMESTER!! It's definitely going to be lonely without Katarina, but having the place to myself will be nice too. Anyhow, I sorted out my stuff, and then we met up with Shauna at the church and met some of her friends. It was definitely very relaxing! At 11:30, Max, Shauna, John, and I went back to the dorm. Max slept over that night <3 :]! But I'll tell you: sleeping on the old futon was MUCH more comfortable than fitting us in my bed. That is for sure.
Monday, January 7.
I went to my first class at 8:30 in the morning. Spanish 201. Something tells me I'm going to do very well in that class. My professor asked a few people, "¿Como estas?" and they're like, "...what? Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying."

After Spanish, I went back to my room and Max and I got breakfast. After breakfast, we got the car and he dropped me off at my dorm instead of making me walk back from overflow parking :]. A non-Max moment, to say the very least!! <3. Saying good-bye was pretty hard. We had gotten so used to seeing each other at least every other day for the past 3 weeks that the realization that we won't be seeing each other for 2 weeks was kind of upsetting :[. After a lengthy good-bye, Max left just in time for me to go to my next class: English 112.
I'm pretty nervous for English, to be honest. I tested out of 111 and went straight to 112, so not only have I not had any writing practice (with the exception of my history papers), but I'm not really sure what to expect. AH!
Then I had choir :]
I went to Sarah and Katie's room for a little while after Choir and then went to Astronomy. That class is such a joke. I'm seriously going to have to take a nap before that class every day. Not only are the lights dimmed, but the seats are cushioned and recline. My professor is boring and monotonous and will surely drive me insane.
After that, I hung out with Shauna. We watched this French movie, The Triplets of Bellville which was actually really interesting. When the movie ended, we sat in her room and talked forever. I found out who Max's first kiss was and Shauna found out how far Max has really gone ; ] ; ]. Hahah we love gossiping about that boy <3. Around 9:15, Shauna had a floor meeting, so I went back to my room, talked to Max for a while on the phone, and fell asleep!
Tuesday, January 8.
So Tuesdays are my good days. I get to sleep in until 10! So as you've probably gathered, I woke up at 10 this morning. I had Visual Communications Technology (VCT) 103 which was okay. I don't really have much of an opinion of that class yet... I'll make a decision after lab on Thursday.
When I got out of VCT, I got lunch with Scott and Estynn. I went back to my room, read Running with Scissors for an hour, then went to Art 102 which is going to be much more demanding than I ever thought imaginable! At least I have Clayton and Ashley D. So hopefully that class will be bearable!
After Art, I went over Sarah's and Katie's, got dinner, got my books from the Union, and came back here. Exciting!
