July 3-7
Last week has been another fun one.
- July 3 / 4 After I got off of work, It was my supervisor Katy’s birthday and it was the Forth of July. So she came over to the office, and she brought fireworks. We set them off at the parking lot. We had a blast. (pun attended)
- July 4 I had dinner with my straight friend Victor, and I still think he’s curious.
- July 5 after a very stressful day at work, Jorge invited me to this bar called Stubbie’s to celebrate his 21 birthday. Stubbie’s have so many beers from all over the world. I had a raspberry flavor beer that tasted like sprite. Jorge let me try some of his. He had a seaweed chocolate beer that was very yummy. And I get to hang out with Jorge’s cousin and Katy. Let me tell you, that Katy is some girl. She is so awesome. We hung out most of the time, and we walked around the bar looking at the many shirts that filled the walls and we talk. She really loves Jorge and I found myself hoping we’ll become good friends.
- July 6 my sister Janet wasn’t feeling well, so I went over to bring her something to eat and we watch the last show of Sex in the City. Around 8pm I went to a concert for class at the Thomas Center. Well when I got there Sergio was there, and he was performing that night. Well he was the best one out of the group. I recorded his performance on my camera. I also saw an old friend of mine from Publix. We talked for a while to catch up. It was fun. Later on Jorge invited me to a place called Farahha’s. It had a nice atmosphere and the food was good, but what made it cool was it was a hookah bar. Yes a hookah, think of the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. Well I didn’t smoke from it, but it looked very cool. There was even a lodge area where it was just throw pillows on the floor. We flopped down and they smoke and I talk again to Kathy.
- July 7 my sweetheart of a friend Kira and I plan on hanging out that day. So after class I went to her place where she got her new bunny Saturn. I help her get her room set up for the new addition. I put a cage around her computer desk, so the bunny wouldn’t snack on her computer cables. Saturn found a little corner to hang out at. And every once and in a while it would hop from corner to explore. It would normally come to me and allow me to pet it. Saturn totally ignores my friend Kira. Kira blame it on the fact I wear Axe. We laugh at that fact, and later on Dan and I was suppose to watch FMA, but he wanted to see this movie Haul’s Moving Castle. I didn’t except to enjoy the movie as much as I did. I was totally impressed with the movie. After the movie, I had hope to hang out with Dan some more, but he wanted to go to Steve’s sister’s place. I wasn’t invited to go, so I went to the UC.
When I drove to the UC, I called Jorge and he was on his way. I told him that will be 3 nights in a row hanging out with him. I told him I’ll be at the bar. When I got there, there was Michael, his boyfriend, and his cool Lesbians friends. They were playing pool. I asked to play and they had me play with this gay guy. I was doing well, but still lost. But the cool part was I was kneeling with the pool stick in front of me, and there was this cool song on. I stood up and Michael and his boyfriend hoot and howler. I looked at them and they said when I stood up it looked like I was poll dancing. So of course I started to poll dance with the pool stick. Only at the UC can a guy get away with poll dancing at a pool table. We all went to the dance floor, and I started to dance by myself. I don’t care if no one wants to dance with me. I saw Michael and his boyfriend dancing with Kip, and I saw Jorge dancing with a cute guy. The lesbians wanted to dance with me though. It was fun. Again I blame my axe for the honor to dance with them. I was thinking, wow axe works on lesbians too.
