It's huge....
After only about 6 days into our trip to the US, time seems to have passed so quickly it already seems like ages. First impressions of a European from (provincial) Germany: everything is 10x bigger, cars, burgers, everything....
Greatest highlight so far: Venice Beach, LA.
Greatest not so great highlight: Yosemite National Park
Impressions on San Francisco: kinda disappointing, thought it was much cooler than LA (at least everyone said so), but it's far too posh for my taste. I definitely prefer LA...
We did a Beverly Hills & Hollywood Hills Tour to check out where the stars live. Was kinda repetetive. However: we've seen the house where Bela Lugosi used to live.... Ironically across the road from where the guy used to live who played Dr. Frankenstein in the 30s.
On Monday we're gonna hit the road again to get to the Burning Man Festival 100 miles north of Reno and then we're going to Las Vegas.
Can't really believe that we're already half way through our hols... :-/
