Glad to see you're using your blog to post your own thoughts and not just comment on others.

But seriously, what is up with all the "lets all get together and write a communal blog about law"? Is this, like, a requirement in law school?

huh? is that sarcasm that I'm not posting my own thoughts? because I am.

Also, the volokh conspiracy is a blog from about 12 different law PROFESSORS, not students.

The collaboration is good because it gets fresh perspectives on different areas of the law. If you're asking why I did it, it was because one of our posters had his own blog the year before and wasn't going to continue in that fashion, but wanted to have something where he could lighten his load somewhat. it worked out. for a while, anyway.

But most blogging (in fact, most WRITING) involves taking the ideas of others and adding to them. Which is exactly what I did here.

so :P

Teen 1 "Oh look, here comes cannonball guy. He's REAL cool."
Teen 2 "Are you being sarcastic, dude?"
Teen 1 "I don't even know anymore"

One of my favorite Simpsons moments. Was I being sarcastic? I don't even know anymore.

You keep it up with the law-talkin' I mean I DID learn something about Plutarch after following the link.
