Walking in different circles
Good morning, all.
A few updates for you. My sister, Karen, celebrated her 49th birthday this past week, and she was so excited to recieve my gift, an opal and ruby ring (she LOVES red and her birthstone is opal so is seemed like a good combination); Amy and the kids are doing as well as can be expected, I'm working with Amy on her resume and helping her apply for jobs, and the kids are spending a lot of time with Kathy and Karen (they live closer than I).
Work is work, still busy with all the people out of the office for various reasons (vacation, illness, family issues), but hopefully most will be back within the next week or two. Lots of meetings and interviews going on (nothing new) but some of the project work is going to be extensive so I'll be buckling down on a few things. Found out something this past week HR related, of course I can't talk about it but it made me sad to hear the news.
Had the oil changed in my car and did a travel check (yep, it cost me a little more than planned) but the good news is that I'm ready for my trip to see Bill in Maryland in a few weeks.. Ran a lot of errands yesterday, so today I'm going to just hang home (except for Mass) and try to get some things done around the apartment; besides its rainy and cold outside.
