Large fingers
Hi friends, a quick update for you.
Family are all well, Joe L. is in NYC this weekend for work, so I called Amy on Friday and she and the kids (Jackie and Paul) and I went to dinner in Ithaca, the kids are so cute and very well behaved even in a big restaurant, afterwards we went to the Halloween store to look at outfits for the kids, we had a blast for sure (did you know that they have Gumbie and Pokie costumes...I want to be Gumbie. :) ) Anyway, Shannan is home this weekend but will be leaving today, so I probably won't have the chance to see her until Thanksgiving. The girls and I are already planning for "Black Friday" shopping, I have most of my list together and have begun some shopping already, I have 2 gifts for Paul and Jackie and am hoping to purchase Kathy's gift this weekend.
Friends are well, as I mentioned ROBERT IS HOME that I think that's my biggest news, he's doing ok, when he called Thursday night and we talked its most appropriate to say that he talked and I listened, he's seen a bit and I think he just needed to vent to someone. We are getting together this Saturday and when I asked what he might want to do he said "I had to make a lot of decisions in AGH and I really don't want to have to make any now that I'm home" to which I replied "The only decision you have to make is whether you want red or white". :) He laughed hard and it was a good to hear that. I can't wait to actually see my friend.
Work is work is work, really not much to say about that.
For me, I'm still taking the antibiotics the doctor prescribed, its not doing any good so far (she did say it would take a week) and my fingers have become swollen, my fat little digits are now even fatter (or at least swollen up). Not fun. Oh well, such is life.
