Wishes, Lies and Dreams
No lies, really, just wishes and dreams. =)
Here's the wishes part:
This is the redwork block I'm doing from Threadbare. I've changed the stitching on a couple of parts. This is a close-up of the Portuguese Stem Stitch that I used on the inside border. I thought it looked like the beading you see on picture frames. Of course, I looked at the directions again, and I did the stitch incorrectly, but I don't care, because I like the looks of it. =) Click to see it better.
Here's the whole block, minus the outside border which will be outline stitched later today.
On one of my journals, someone posted a comment about seeing these, and mentioned the fish scene, which was being completed when she was there. Here it is in all it's glory, followed by a close-up. There are 7 of these completed, I think, with three more to go.
