Birdie Stitches #2
I finished this today.
I'm still not completely happy with my backstitch, but it takes practice, like anything else. I used Sassa Lynne perle fine, except for the black, which is DMC perle 8. I've never had a Sassa Lynne run, but one of the hearts on here did, from the steam in the iron when I pressed the back of the block into the towel. It's all the same thread on that bird, but just that one part ran. Weird, but, too bad, so sad. It isn't the end of the world, and I'm not redoing the block.
I'll be ready for #3 on the first!
