I feel Good!

Well Good Morning,

Just got back from a loverly walk along the river. Oh how beautiful. I love mornings in Oxford - cold, brisk - I am so awake! The river was absolutely amazing this morning. I wish I could post a picture, but alas Laura did not know how....tear!

So the best part of the whole walk, however, was on my way back. On the back of one of the Oxford City Buses, there was a picture of two people making out! I was like...Que??? Upon closer inspection, besides the two loves was a caption that said, "Come up for air". It was part of the advertising campaign for clean-air buses. HAHA!

My time in London with Laura and Allison was wonderful. On Saturday night, we all went to the club, G.A.Y. at the Astoria. After getting through 40-something of the 100 top dance floor hits, we had to call it a night. My feet still hurt! But it was some dancing fun! Of course, I also enjoyed the pub before hand. Quaint, English, and cozy.

Although the most unusual part of the night - and the whole trip - was the number 25 bus. Now Allison had warned us that it is "diverse". But well...I was a bit overwhelmed. The guy next to me lit up a joint on the Bus! Then some ASS was standing in front of the door (with the 14yr old he was sexually abusing) and refusing to let people in. It was ridic.

After the eventful bus ride, we quickly fell asleep - that is after some nostalgic discussions of Wingos...yum!

Sunday, we went to Covenant Garden - a old-style open air market. I bought some photos of London. They will make a nice addition to my DC pics. Then I left Laura and Allison to explore the NAtional Gallery, and I headed back to Oxford. One uneventful bus ride and a short nap later, I arrived home in one piece.

Wow. THe most I have written on a blog in years. Well there you go.

Cheers!

Have a good one,
Chris

P.S. To James Brown..that great man...Laura, send me songs!
