Benzene and cancer is the fun topic of the day.
What is benzene?

Benzene, as it says very nicely in the above article, is six hydrogen and six carbon combined into one molecule. Super!
Benzene causes cancer!
Not so super...
Benzene is thus, sadly, not a good thing.
The food and cosmetic industry think it is though!
Benzene is used in many products today. Among the Benzene containing chemicals commonly used are:
Sodium Benzoate
Potassium Benzoate
Benzyl Alcohol
Yay!
So these benzene products, that are in your lunch snacks, must be safe, right? Wrong!
Benzoates and benzyl alcohols bond with acids, particularly citric acid (found in soft drinks, oranges and sour things) and create...
BENZENE!
So you are back to cancer causing benzene once more. Thus you are ingesting in many of your food products what will soon be a cancer causing substance.
This may be one small reason why so many more people are getting cancer...
So look at those food labels, you may be in for a suprise.
