Here at Disney World, the guest always comes first. So if you get caught talking smack about them, there will grave consequences. Allow me to explain why I am writing about this.
It all started when a guest came in, and from what I could tell, he wasn't in the best of moods. Either that, or he had an attitude. When I brought him his food, immediatly ther was something wrong. One, he pointed out that he had one too many double-cheeseburgers. Second, he pointed out that the portions of fries on the rest of his meal were megar. Trying to get back on his good side, I took back the double-cheeseburger and gave him an extra cup of fries. He noticed that one of the other cast members on counter didn't look too happy to be there. He then took his food, muttered, "Redictulious." and left.
When he was gone (or so I thought), I went over to Shelly, one of the cast members on register, and talked about how he was basically a customer who complained about everything, even an extra cheeseburger that he didn't pay for. Well, aparently, that same guest herd my remark. He then went to a manager and spoke of my behavior. About an hour later, I was sent to the office to fill out a paper that explained my side of the story. After I was finished filling it out, I was informed that I was to be suspended until further notice. I then turned in my Disney ID, and I was escorted out of the park.
I knew as soon as Shelly told me that the guest went to a manager I was in deep shit. The rest of the time I was on duity I felt sick. I still do. Face it, if other companies find out that Disney had to terminate me, there is a good chance that I won't get hired. I'm fucked! I don't know what else to do at this point, except pray.
And pray I have. When I got the bad news, I've been talking nonstop with the big guy. Its uncertanity thats got my stomach in a knot. I don't know if they are going to slap my hand or fire my ass. My roommates Beto and Fransuas says that Disny does this just to satisfy the guest and make it look like they are doing something. Plus its also punishment for even getting into that situation, that its all a mindgame. If its a mindgame, then Disney is winning. I'm so scared that if I eat something, I'm afraid I migth throw up. All I gotta say that if Disney is willing to give me a second chance, this definatly won't happen again.
I'm gonna need help with this one. Words of encouragement, prayers, anything to show that I've got support on this.
