So i've pretty much spent the entire weekend in waterloo working on my Preliminary Design Report. I went out friday and got a bit drunk but that was the extent of my fun this weekend. Otherwise ive been at the lab pondering designs for a wind tunnel test rig that can measure the lift and thrust of a robotic flapping pigeon. Now i ussually read the paper alot, but in these past couple of days its become extremely excessive. I keep going to the news websites expecting more developments, probably just cuz i dont feel like doing any real work. But this constant reading of newspapers has become, dare i say it, compulsive. I'm not getting any work done and im not reading anything new!! I gotta stop, and gotta get to work on figuring out this design. so then i checked my horroscope. havent done it in a while.

so i think lately ive been keeping track of facts but really letting the problem solving slide. and its not productive right now. my head is running out of room and im running out of time for my deadlines. I gotta kill this paper reading habit, and concentrate on designing this pigeon fixture!
