My Big News!!!
Okay this is the geekiest of the geekiest posts...but here goes! A friend--and I use the term loosely, but without him, this project wouldn't have gone that well, or look as cool--and I banded together to create a very cool and very gay comic book! The concept is based on semi true events. I say semi for obvious reasons because I am not exactly a superhero. But the main character Rage is based off of my best friend in a way. He modled for us anyhow.
The comic book revolves around the main hero Rage and his sidekick Zephyr (which is modeled after myself, heh) and they defend the city of Gayopolis. Its a bit tounge-in-cheek, but that's what makes it fun, right?
Before I get to that, I came to the realization that with the death of my favorite superhero, that it was time to create a new one that could be clearly identified as gay and not just through a lot of subtext. Though don't get me wrong, becaucse I love the subtexty ones too!
We did a short little run for now, but if its popular enough we're gonna make more.
