Nations of the world: you need to come up with a cooperative strategy to combat piracy. What you're doing? It isn't working. Escallation of the threat is movement in the wrong direction. How about hitting them where they live? Kill them. All of them. Use covert operations forces to hunt down and kill the leaders on land. Set them up by using decoys and trojan-horse-like tactics. Make them pay such a high price that it makes no sense. This isn't like the drug war ~ no victimless crime or demand~side measures to use here. This is a problem that needs to end, and a military solution, multinational, cooperative, strong and complete seems like the only way.
On another note: thanks, Charlie Sheen, for reminding us that train wrecks are not unique to teenage girls.
