So, after almost 2 weeks, 10 phone calls, 20 e-mails, opening a paypal dispute, and remaining calm in the face of a moronic system, I finally have my refund.

What kind of customer service set up doesn't retain the history of an event for multiple calls, at least until final resolution? I know it is often like pulling teeth to get a representative to actually check the history, but in this case, I'm not sure they even HAVE a history. Every call was a complete new adventure.

All for $27.22. I still have a very nice electronic paperweight (or a limited feature MP3 player and camera...) I guess I'll return it, too, because who knows what I'll want when I actually make the switch.
