yay camp!
yay callused fingers from playing so much guitar!
yay seeing cool people (albeit, boo for there not being more of them at Young Adult Weekend)!
yay going to San Diego in the fall (though, boo for only having 10 days in which to get there)!
yay Liz's wedding last Saturday (yet, boo getting lost in the wilds of Kennewick)!
music and camp and life make me happy. long days, yes, and not always perfect by any means, but worthwhile and full and worth living. my life has purpose here. I help make things happen, and it's especially great now that we're into the actual camper weeks for good. Here's the schedule for the rest of my summer:
July 13-18 Intermediate & Junior High 2 (4th-6th grade; 7th-8th grade)
July 18-20 fly to CA for Peter's wedding!
July 20-26 Mid High (9th-10th grade)
July 27-30 something? likely a day of break and a couple days of labor type work
July 31 Staff Retreat!
August 1-2 break
August 3-8 Intermediate & Junior High 3 (this is the week I get to plan and lead!)
August 10-16 Senior High (11th-12th grade and high school grads)
August 17 Last day of camp staff
Then I have until August 27 to get to San Diego, and that's the day we have graduate orientation so really I should get there sooner. Ideally Mike and I will have an apartment by then and be in the process of moving in, but we'll see.
anyway, it's rec classes now which happens to be my break time today, so I'm going to go do something other than sitting at my computer up until lunch. huzzah!
