Skipping town.

My grandmother's obituary and an online guestbook can be found here.

I apologize to everyone I've confused with ducking out of town these past few days.  I'm not the kind of person to really talk about these things.  I let the necessary people know that I had to leave town, and then I just got out of South Orange when I had to, based on flight times and stuff.  So, if you have been trying to reach me/find me/etc. and you didn't find out until just recently that I skipped town, I apologize.  I had to do what I had to do, and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

It's going to be a tough weekend.  It's had its moments already.  My sister's coming in tomorrow with some of my dad's family, and the visitation is tomorrow afternoon into the evening, with the funeral at about noon on Monday.

I'll be back to campus on Tuesday afternoon.

PS: Yes, the earthquake's force was felt in St. Louis.  I had two people ask me just how that is possible... look on a map.  Since the bedrock of the midwest is pretty much one piece without a lot of breaks, the jolt can travel hundreds of miles without losing potency.  That's the first noticeable earthquake I have ever felt.  It was pretty odd.
