LEVIATHAN DOOM!

Note to anyone else who ever studies political philosophies in depth:  When speaking about Thomas Hobbes, the methodical, logical and arguably anal thinker who meticulously defined nearly every term he ever used in any of his works, be sure not to use words like "law" or "rights"  unless you really, really, REALLY know that you're referring to what Locke is talking about when he uses those same words.

Your professor will slaughter you, and will probably attempt to make a humorous remark about how Hobbes would be rolling over in his grave because you in turn slaughtered the terminology.

Choose your words carefully!

(and knowing is half the battle!)

rants, class, advice, politics
