Sleep...does anyone recall what it is?

The back stage adjudicator was super nice.  Sarah came to the rehearsal and we ran the play once with her, and, by some miracle, she was able to do it!!! So she got to do our performance, which was about an hour later and went quite well from my perspective.  I didn’t majorly screw up any cues, which is good, ‘case the back stage adjudicator had a head set so he could listen in on my conversations with Vaike (lights and sound), Aida (back stage crew), and Tracy (back stage crew/assistant stage manager).  The other plays (there were two) that night were okay.  Friday morning, we got our adjudication and it was pretty good.  We got some cool suggestions from the front stage adjudicator.  The back stage adjudicator was super impressed with how smooth our set and strike was (we had ten minutes for set and five for strike, and we did each in three - BAM!) and how on task and smooth our tech run went (yes! so relieved).  In the afternoon, we watched (for free) two more plays, the second of which (called ‘Your Mother’s Butt’) was awesome!!! It was very funny.  That evening, our school’s other play went, and it was great, and our biggest competition went, and they were pretty good (though I wasn’t a big fan of the play chosen).  This afternoon, the final two plays went.  The second one was cute, but the acting was a little stiff, and the first one was really well done and freakin’ hilarious!!  I have now added to word “cromited” (vomited/crying) to my vocabulary thanks to it.  I now have to run away to clean up the auditorium, lead the other schools in drama games while we wait for the adjudicators to decide, and have the awards banquet.  Okay, I really must go now....so, no quote today.  Sorry.
