Today, I randomly watched 'Galaxy Quest' with Jenna since SM was cancelled and I kind of love it like cake. I got so ridiculously excited during the climax! And I love Alan Rickman so so much. I really really do. I'm not sure if I can adequately emphasize just how much I love love love Alan Rickman.
Anyways, this last weekend was fabulous! Nolan's aunt's wedding had a lovely ceremony and a very fun supper and dance following, and I really enjoyed myself!! Nolan was then kind enough to pick me up a little before seven the next morning so we could grab some Timmies and then drop me off at the bus depot (hm....if you didn't know Timmies, that would sound kinda dirty, wouldn't it?). Yes, I took the bus home despite my irrational fear of it (yay me!) and arrived with my still head attached (too soon?) so that's a good thing. It wasn't really bad at all. But then, while waiting for my dad to pick me up at the s'toon bus depot, I saw........COOPER!!!!!!! He was buying a ticket and I was like *staaaaaaare* and he glanced around and saw me and did a double take and then I waved and he waved back. Eventually, he came over to talk to me briefly before he had to go. He asked where I was going, I explained I'd just come from Regina, he asked why I was there and I told him I was majoring in film at the U of R and I was so intimidated by his sheer awesomeness that I COULDN'T SAY ANYTHING!!! I mean, I answered his questions, but I didn't even ask where he was going or anything! I have no idea! I'm a TERRIBLE PERSON!!! It is so ridiculous that I literally get star struck syndrome around Cooper....I was (and still am) the same way around Daniel Malena....and was like that with Emma Thorpe before we became closer friends. See, this is why I shouldn't surround myself by talented people! If I'd met Cooper or Daniel through something other than drama/music, I wouldn't be nearly as intimidated, I'm sure. Well, maybe. Anyways, the point is, this is an example of how I am actually a shy person. I'm just so weird and crazy and loud with my friends that no one knows it. Anyways, my dad and Emily came to pick me up and then, being very very tired from the very late post-dance night and early morning, I lazed around my home catching up on all the TV my family recorded for me and I hadn't seen.
On the subject of TV! Castle is still awesome, so is Bones, Dollhouse is pretty cool (the latest episode was SO FREAKY AND AWESOME!), House is awesome, GLEE is fantastic (omigod, all of you, go watch it NOW!!!), and Heroes has completely improved its writing from last season THANK GOD!!! I am actually really enjoying Heroes this season (so far), it is such a relief! The dialogue is sweet and quirky, Peter got a snarky sense of humour that is HILARIOUS and I TOTALLY CALLED that girl being a lesbian....but I guess that was pretty obvious. And I love....Emma? What's the name of the chick who sees sound? Well, anyways, she's really cool, I like her.
In film class last night, we watched 'Burn After Reading' and I LOVED IT!!!! Goodness me, what an incredibly strange movie!! And yet so brilliantly awesome in its strangeness! Love love love! Dude, I was SO SHOCKED when ***** got his FACE SHOT OFF, OMG!! Love!!
In other news, I have two essays, some tests, a SM assignment I know nothing about, and crazy outlining for my NaNo novel plus three more chapters of Lullaby to write in the next little while, so Mary away! *Yami Marik voice - I was just watching his Wolverine review*
