Voted today.  Figured I'd write about it here because I'd love to be really vocal about my votes and shit but thats really obnoxious and writing about it here is much less intrusive.

Obama for president, not that it matters--Mass is such a blue state I could've written in "Douglas Quaid" as my vote with the same outcome.  I do think Obama is a good orator though, and Biden is a spot-on fellow, which is way more than I can say for McCain--who I like! but is retarded for choosing a running-mate who is functionally braindead.  It is amusing, however, that I would happily eat Sarah Palin's ass if she asked, but theres no way i'd humor the idea of giving her any authority.  It would be sexist if she weren't a dumb cunt.

Kerry for re-election, why the hell not.  Everyone else seemed to be running unopposed

I did, however, feel like the odd-man out by voting no on all 3 props.  Prop 1 was a no-brainer, since I enjoy having hospitals, schools, police and fire stations.  Since I don't smoke pot, and I will never work in a court of law or even as a cop, there really wasn't much reason for me to humor prop 2 with a yes--the only thing I have at stake there is my own amusement, so fuck em.  Prop 3 I almost gave a no to simply because I feel theres no way anyone else is going to.  Theres been plenty of campaigns for yessing prop 3, because dog lovers love dogs and its easy to paint dog-tracks as being these cruel-shit places where theres hundreds of injuries--its still legal in surrounding states, so all outlawing it here will change is where the owners drive and the people working at the tracks (of which there are only 2) will have to find employment elsewhere.  People probably won't entertain that train of thought, though, so I wish the best of luck to the people who work at those tracks, since my time employed at a race-track has given me great empathy to the old-coots who tend to work there.
