Can we make thinks more cryptic by using acronyms when it's not really needed? Are people just that lazy? YES! THEY ARE!

20th century onwards. As literacy rates rose, and as sciences and technologies advanced, bringing with them more complicated terms and concepts, the practice of abbreviating terms became increasingly convenient.
It's for using with big complicated terms and ideas! Not everyday words!, I give you this!...
